Today is a very special day for me as it is my graduation day. Bishop McVinney has been my second home and everyone here has been like a second family to me. I have had the pleasure to have been guided through my ten years by wonderful teachers, administrators, and staff. Bsihop McVinney School has helped us to become peacemakers, to trust in God, love one another, and respect differences. Our teachers have provided us with a quality education. Our school has welcomed and treated us in such a way that we always knew we were the children of God. As we set forth on life’s journey, I want to wish you all the best as you continue your own journey at Bishop McVinney School.

Class of 2008
I owe it all to Bishop McVinney Regional School for helping me to become the individual I am today. My family and I had only been living in the United States for a year when I began the sixth grade at Bishop McVinney Regional School. My siblings and I barely knew any English, but my teachers and, especially Mr. Hebert, were very helpful during the learning process. Mr. Hebert did not just simply assist us in the educational transition, but with my transition to the United States as well.
By the time I graduated from the eighth grade, I was speaking English fluently. My two sisters and brother all graduated from Bishop McVinney Regional School. Currently my son and nephew attend kindergarten and first grade and I am looking forward to seeing them both graduate. If it was not for the education that Bishop McVinney offered me, I would not have been able to become the person I am today. Now I am a successful business man who helps run his family’s business. I am forever thankful and grateful to have received my education at Bishop McVinney Regional School.
